Christian Nationalism assumes that Jesus told Roman citizens to pay taxes to Rome so that Rome would care for the poor. He told His followers to do this work, not a nation.

@howertonjosh Who decides which Christianity to promote? I love the sentiment but the history of Christian Nationalism throughout history is that Christians eventually fight (and kill) other Christians. Has there ever been an example of it not ending this way?
