Wow, what a surprise. Gwen Graham is a name I haven't heard in years. She ran for Gov in 2018, her father was the popular former Governor and Senator Bob Graham
Tallahassee Democrat: Gwen Graham named as David Jolly's running mate for Florida Governor by Tallahassee pastor
Jolly is seeking the Democratic nomination for Florida governor

@EricMGarcia I geniunely wonder what the implications of that are for FL Dems. Like are FL voters now just completely immune from any national environment change or will we see a much closer election cycle for once this year
@BackupRanger@styt101 I think he would've won by the same margin as 2022, doubt he does worse than that. I do agree that Flanagan wins by 7 points minimum
The MN GOP is not so subtly trying to boost Flanagan because they think she's the "easier to beat" opponent... which is odd because these guys couldn't even pick up a single downballot race like Auditor or AG during the redder 2022 midterms...
Quite the interesting strategy
Angie Craig is the BEST.
Republicans LOVE Angie.
We canโt stand that evil Peggy Flanagan though. No! Very, VERY bad!
Thank you Angie for helping us PASS the Laken Riley Act to fully fund ICE!
@enjayglowbe72 I'm surprised this is messaging they're going forward with
...on the other hand the Dem ticket is an elected state auditor that's overperformed top ticket by 19 points, and a Dem commissioner in a Trump+43 district that voted for Obama in 2008
IA is truly a case study this year
@ColeSandick Hickenlooper got like 58% of the vote in 2020 as a former Governor with the entire Dem establishment behind him (Obama, Harris, Salazar, DSCC).
I think he's always asleep on the wheel with elections after 2014, or he is just outright unpopular with CO Dems
@auautumntumn@davidslosttt Anecdotally, every other Dem I spoke to always ended their assessment on him with "BUT he's a billionaire though". I have no idea what Pritzker's gameplan is for 2028 (if he even has one) because I don't think it would go to well.
@AzelfDaGirl I know its just an online poll but is it GGs for Jackson? Pingree and Shah seem to be having momentum behind them, I haven't heard or seen too much from Jackson
@auautumntumn@davidslosttt Who do you think would've been the better candidate other than Steyer? I can only see Padilla or Harris being able to take Steyer's spot AND improving in terms of electoral prospects
@BeshearStan Bernie and AOC jumping in would make this race so much tighter and competitive, I also don't think they'll end up doing it.
It's about 3 weeks away and all the attention is still on Maine today and then NY 2 weeks from now, CO is under the radar and will prob stay that way
Methinks its gonna end up like 62-83 or 64-36, if this poll is anywhere near reality.
Hickenlooper isn't the strongest Dem for primaries even though he was a former Gov. Theoretically if the Bernie wing of Dems got behind Gonzales, she'd make this primary close
@ZhouJaron Crawford voted for Obama in '08, this ticket altogether screams "we're trying to re-assemble the Obama coalition again". If Sand of all people loses this race, I think its fair to say that IA is gone gone for Dems for at least another generation
@PokiJaciii The million dollar question is who gets the second place spot. It's between Steyer and Hilton imo, who do you think (based on current info and polling and all) gets that
