I’ve had a compulsive habit of taking notes (ask anyone who’s been in a discussion with me) - meetings, making summaries when reading books, in class, everywhere.

I almost never refer to these notes again, it’s obsessive - to the point of paralysis: I find it hard to do things without a notebook and start putting it off the work.

I just realised I haven’t opened my daily notebook in 2 whole days - because @LittlebirdAI’s been so good with to-dos, planning my day and recording all the meetings. Feels weirdly relaxing.

TIL: No good wearable adapts your alarm (within a reasonable window) to increase the odds of being woken up during light sleep (instead of REM or deep sleep), to avoid grogginess. Very low hanging fruit for @WHOOP @ouraring and Apple Watch imo.

@StartupArchive_ Love this. It's been so hard to me to explain insights as a moat because that implies no one else can reach the same conclusion. Moat as a noun is usually generic stuff like "great team", "shipping fast" or "high quality" - all of which sound unsexy.

I feel disconnected and old saying this but I met a lot of our younger cousins (<14yo) at a family wedding last month and almost all of their screen time was spent on @Roblox.

Sounds dystopian but it goes beyond playing games - they've built "digital-native" lives with real friends, social capital and spending patterns.
+ None of them were active on Instagram, X or Snap (pleasantly surprising smh).

Thinking along this attention shift, a future where major commerce runs through these platforms sounds pretty natural.

Fashion makes for a great entry point into this potential next era, something that dad and @goatgoel have chosen to call "Phygital Commerce".

They're pretty early and there's lots to build, but very excited about them building in this space.

From my friends in corporate, this adoption is coupled with weird ass metrics/regulations - leaderboards for who burned the most tokens, extremely limited queries, no access to SOTA models but mostly (now) garbage like Llama 3 or Claude 3.5 🥱; and the codebases aren’t made agent friendly.
