It's the ten year anniversary of @ImangiStudios, makers of mobile gaming juggernaut @TempleRun, and we celebrate by looking back at the history of this studio. Congrats @kshepherd and @nattylux! https://t.co/tu7zeBOORO by @JaredTA
Today is Imangi Studios 10th Anniversary. Been a wild ride with @nattylux and the Imangi team! Looking forward to the next 10 years. Many exciting projects in the works!
@mrfungfung Awesome! MiniSquadron so cool, can't wait to play multiplayer on the web! Happy to hear about EpicWin too. All is well here in Raleigh, lots of Temple Run related stuff in the works. We've grown quite a bit, been a wild ride!
@jblocksom I don't disagree. 6dof is definitely better than 3dof, and the hardware will get there. I just really prefer all-in-on form factor for VR vs desktop VR, even though desktop is obviously more "powerful"
Sure, I'd prefer positional tracking but I find the portability / wireless nature to be very compelling. Especially for 360 video, which doesn't benefit from 6dof. I'm looking forward trying devices in this form factor with 6dof such as Vive Focus & Mirage Solo too. https://t.co/MWPlhBZRRc
For the price, this beats the pants off of Gear VR in every aspect. It's also such a pain to pop your phone in and out with gear or cardboard. https://t.co/MWPlhBZRRc
Really liking the Oculus Go for self contained mobile VR, way more than I expected I would. It's such a major upgrade over Gear VR. And 4096x4096 Stereo 360 videos look sweet!
@ID_AA_Carmack Ok, will try. I have some great 6k stereo footage I shot in Iceland recently, that I'm looking to share best quality I can. Hard to find definitive specs online for what works / doesn't. So much is outdated, so I appreciate your quick response!
@ID_AA_Carmack Interesting, I haven't had success with that. Is there a recommended bitrate? Both Oculus Gallery & 360 Video app also seem to exit unexpectedly a lot for me these days
