I'm excited about our survey paper, coauthored with @lfshir and Alan Liu, on "Compact Data Structures for Network Telemetry." The paper reviews efficient ways to collect measurement data on programmable network devices.

Congratulations to Stephanie Althoff and Jonas Grobe from @TU_Dortmund for winning the best student paper at the 14th RNDM https://t.co/bgDC2jGN7Y . Their work investigates error-resistant routing in networks with unidirectional links, such as in sensor networks.
@halvarflake Well, historically there was no CS. It was created out of Mathematics and Engineering.
And having the level of precision of Math is not bad for CS.
If you look for sound empirical science, Physics would be a better example than Engineering.
