@MAAIF_Uganda Kindly support the coffee farmers in Bundibugyo. This huller was supplied by govt but has been idle for 2 years now due to lack of 3 phase power. I believe the whole point of this investment was to support them with value addition. There are 2 of these.

@GodberTumushabe When we were doing our industrial training this is what we used to do. Working on small projects within the university like carrying out maintenance of road sections and it did not cost much because @MakCEDAT had the materials and equipment available.

Apart from now being known as the owners of the infamous ebola bundibugyo strain, bundibugyo is also Uganda's leading producer of cocoa, prolly one of the most fertile places in this country and has an abnormal natural water supply thanks to the rwenzoris but...bad news sells.

Every time I use the Fort bundibugyo road Im reminded of the lectures on routine maintenance all for nought. Yes, the ministry may not have enough money to do periodic maintenance but routine maintenance like desilting would go a long way in extending this road's life.
