@jupiterbrandos But why change the rules to do that?, it doesn't change deck building, it just makes the game slightly faster and turn 1s every game for every player will be similar
Theres just no good reason to do it
@RogueScholarMDC The small difference here is that part of attacking is the opponent can dodge/block
So you cannot account for that irl unless you give them someone who realistically can act like the opponent and move like them
@ihatethisb2680@Gingerblast Persuasion is good for people who have a difficult time talking like that but their character is good at it, you wouldnt make the twig of a person try to lift 200lbs because they are playing a barb would you?
@EimonWright@Gingerblast For the most part is is perfectly reasonable randomly jotti g a note or asking for a stat is great suspense however making players roll a check that you basically made an auto pass even if you gave them something like advantage there is still that 1-400 chance for 2 nat 1s
@AtavusShadow@kyletheblind@movieguyjon the rule system itself says you can ignore rules, and has a section saying that dms can have things happen without rolls
@movieguyjon if my players come up with a really good idea and explain how they go about it, if its amazing or cool or creative imma let them do it without rolling
@PraiseEmperorL@AlanzqTFT as someone who plays alot of tcgs, when you announce a trigger that is not you looking for confirmation that you activated it, you are asking if it resolves
you dont need to ask again for confirmation you got it when they said yea, the opponent missed their trigger timing
@JazzDeeApple@R1ckDubber@TheLaurenChen Yes and i said it probably played a part, but it was determined that the neck compression was the main factor not the fent
@JazzDeeApple@R1ckDubber@TheLaurenChen Yes he wasn't strangled, he was not purposefully killed but his neck was compressed enough to hinder his breathing
@JazzDeeApple@R1ckDubber@TheLaurenChen No it says he has those conditions, it does not say that those issues were the cause of death
They determined the cause of death was neck compression
@JazzDeeApple@R1ckDubber@TheLaurenChen Yes the medical examination does not make someone guilty, but it soes determine cause of death, in this case it is listed as being restrained by the neck while arrested and not fent
