@DRUNKKZ3@BattlefieldInte@BattlefieldComm@EA_DICE@Battlefield@tiggr_ I don’t want to be overly polemical this time, but constructive, because it’s clear that the approach pursued so far hasn’t worked.
I completely understand marketing and the desire to satisfy the loudest portion of players on Reddit and the forums, but guys, there’s a frustration problem here. Florian, as someone who has been a competitive player, you can feel that frustration every time you make a mistake ingame because you don’t even have time to understand what’s happening. And I believe you knew exactly where this Season 2 was going to lead it can’t be otherwise.
We all knew that pairing a laser beam style gameplay (with weapons already far too accurate) with a movement nerf would further expose the game’s main weakness: an extremely low TTK combined with a hitbox system that gives the same damage value to a shot on the tip of the toe as to one in the chest.
All of this has led us to think that you’re developing the game to allow even those who have never played an FPS in their lives to feel some kind of gratification maybe temporary, but that’s how it looks to us. And for those who are actually passionate about FPS games, what remains? Just a shooter that rewards low skill players and constantly punishes those who want to become better.
I believe that at DICE you need to take a big step back actually, two big steps back, because the essence of an FPS is to BE an FPS.
There are players who, yes, can be polemical or even toxic at times, but who also have a remarkable depth of knowledge that truly aligns with the needs of FPS players. I apologize for mentioning only a few they’re simply the first that come to mind but in the past they have shown great willingness to contribute, creating content on their channels with ideas that could genuinely elevate this BF6.
@Uniting_ps@VolsiaFPS@BalanceBF@SilkOCE@EndersFPS@TriggerBF@ProLosco
All of us are asking you to listen to them, because as it stands right now, this simply isn’t working.
Best regards.
@MarianoFroldi Secondo me fanno molto, troppo probabilmente, affidamento all'ADUO perché così è palese. Come dicevo qualche settimana fa, appena i team clienti Mercedes capiranno come usare quel motore ci sarà ben poco da ridere.
@wearetherace It’s been more than a year that they knew what having such a big turbo would entail. They’ve already changed the regulations as well. Stop crying or start from the pit lane.
@EndersFPS first team in history with 95% players loss in 4 months. EA looks at data as well as money, it couldn't end this story by patting itself on the back.
@EndersFPS yeh... @DRUNKKZ3 and whole DICE "are monitoring and evaluating” That’s what they do, sorry, that’s all they know how to do: monitor and write long useless posts.
@CxmeronCc Fuck off. A bunch of clowns dressed in black. The worst Formula 1 that drivers and fans have ever seen since this sport has existed, and he even has the nerve to speak.
@f1net@AeroTechVH I imagine that at that point the chassis would have to be redesigned and the weight distribution would change drastically. As a layman, I ask: would that mean the cars have to be rebuilt from scratch?
