MAGA Republicans never miss an opportunity to exploit tragedy and terrorism to place the blame on President Biden and Democrats. LP co-founder @TheRickWilson shares his thoughts on the recent attacks in Israel and how it has affected the political sphere.
@NancyAFrench What on earth has happened to Franklin? I lived just 7 miles away for 15 years (left in 2006), my daughter was born there, and I just loved telling people to visit because it was so charming and fun. It seems like all I hear now is this dark news, which is so disturbing.
@JoelSuspended@ClaraJeffery All you hear is how awful the VA is, yet surveys of those who actually use it are overwhelmingly positive. My sister received excellent care through the VA.
@sue_cirrincione@LqLana @ybarrap It was a way to force blacks to use the buses—anything to make their boycotts less likely and their lives more difficult.
@DerekWBlack@dewayne_emert Ms. Decker (theater) & Mr. Bianchi (symphony.) I didn’t become a professional actress or musician, but I learned more about teamwork, & the pursuit of excellence from them than anywhere else. They helped a bunch of teens create art. #WorldTeachersDay
People at Trump’s event in MI holding “Unions for Trump” signs admitted they weren’t in a union, and people holding “Auto Workers For Trump” signs admitted they weren’t auto workers. Another sham. https://t.co/YRNj6zjT3f
@AfricanArchives@nicole_mtclem My god—the pain, humiliation, and degradation these women endured. It’s such an ugly part (amongst many others) of American history. No wonder so many don’t want it taught. But truth-telling is fundamental to healing and we all need to hear these stories/truths/facts.
@ClaraJeffery@AncestryRoads I am currently cleaning out my parents’ home following my dad’s death, & I truly don’t resent my folks for leaving so much stuff. They were married almost 70 years. Of course there’s a lot. I don’t feel burdened & some of what we’ve found has been so sweet—old love letters, etc.
We're celebrating BFFs today... black-footed ferrets. These hotdog-shaped mustelids were declared extinct in 1979. Just two years later, a small population was discovered along the banks of the Greybull River in Wyoming. #ESA50
@MikeRogersForMI This is disgraceful. I guess I was wrong in thinking you were an R with some integrity. I’m even more determined now to elect @RepSlotkin as Michigan’s next US Senator.
