As we mark the first anniversary of #MarkaeHaq this week, a grateful nation salutes its military heroes and martyrs across all services for their outstanding excellence in protecting our country and its sovereign borders from naked aggression.
In defending our beloved Pakistan 🇵🇰 with exceptional valour and professional skills that have now become legend in textbook war studies of how to turn defence into triumph, they have also redrawn a strategic red line of conventional deterrence on the map of the region.

Not only did the limited war with India demonstrate Pakistan’s outstanding capabilities in multidomain warfare, it set a punishing record for all hostile actors seeking to flex against Pakistan.
India clearly made its biggest strategic miscalculation in living history by initiating this misadventure last May. Pakistan turned it into Narendra Modi’s most ignominious summer of discontent. Operation Bunyanul Marsoos will be remembered for the bonfire of many IAF jets, but also of Indian strategic vanities.

In that one year Pakistan has not only moved into another role of strategic stabiliser, it has gained the confidence of competing actors and powers in a world defined by conflict, disruption and disorder.
There is no other example of such strategic maturity right now where one country is able to navigate exemplary milestones of both war and peace in the space of one year.

In all humility, with heads bowed before almighty God, we are all united in giving thanks today as we say :
