Abbas Bajizehi was arrested during protests in Golestan in January 2026 and is now held in a juvenile detention center after torture and a forced confession.

The regime says he 'led protests' in January.

He’s a child.

Many Iranians blame President Carter for not supporting the Shah, who was a U.S ally during the 1979 revolution. In his defense, President Carter could not have know the ideology of the new regime .
But in 2026 , we do know . We are fully aware of this regime brutality, its ideology and its inhumane treatment of ordinary citizens.
That is what I find most disheartening. As executions continue , seeing VP Vance meet the representatives of this regime- and even appear willing to pose for photo opportunity with them- is difficult to understand, it raises an important question: where is the moral compass?
