I shared an initial @gianfrancocont9 SoL, MARSEARS activity list and templates Ppt last week on the GILT Facebook group if any help to #mfltwitterati. These have been inspired by Conti's courses, books and blogs and many amalgamated from the incredible contributors on here...1/
@gianfrancocont9 I honestly can't emphasise enough how much your approach has refreshed and transformed our Faculty. All learners engaged and able to access & succeed. Very happy linguists and language teachers plus I'm now taking the EPI concepts into other curriculum areas 💫
@katielockett I used the 'reading with a ruler' I saw at your school with my pupils this week - so effective to see who is following the text & stopping at random points to spot check 😉
@MartinLapworth@DavidDun1@SentenceBuildrs@Language_Gym@MrVinalesMFL Ah perfect. I got the impression the activities for sa content was more constrained (as content of premade ones was so carefully verified, it was easier to allow a greater flexibility of activities.) I'll get writing my bid to the Finance Officer at school 🤗
@DavidDun1@SentenceBuildrs@MartinLapworth@Language_Gym@MrVinalesMFL Is there now a range of games you can play once you input your own SBs (as opposed to using the premade ones)? I loved the website and so nearly signed up in the summer. I just need to know there are enough activities for personalised SBs 😊
@gianfrancocont9 @spsmith45 This is the book (+ Curriculum Planning course with Gianfranco) that revived my love of teaching languages and opened my mind to a refreshing way of teaching that has made planning so much more logical and learning truly stick! 🌟 😊 🌟
@missmclachlan My daughter washes her hands at school (instead of sanitiser) and has a little tube of Aveeno in her drawer to put on. Could his teacher remind him to pop it on in the day? Epaderm or Hydramol (prescription) are also good 💙
