@nikol84312508@newstart_2024 Same. One time in grad school my roommate was talking about an ethics course she was taking and in my head (not out loud) I remembered an ethics project I did in undergrad on the deaf community and cochlear implants. Very shortly after I was receiving ads about cochlear implants.

@hillbillythings I have a scarily similar birth story in 2020. I used to cry at the first mention of it and I could barely breathe in medical settings for over 2 years. We planned to have another child, hired a home birth midwife, started with dual care but stopped going to the clinic visits.
@pnickdurham@Monumental_Labs@mspringut This is lovely. We preserve and repurpose what is beautiful - it endures. Everything else is fleeting and meaningless and disposable. Our built environment shapes so much of society, our interactions, even our optimism.
@MaddieVasiliev@mrsdobbins_ Same. I was pregnant February - November 2020 with my first and I was fighting for my life against nausea while everyone else was concerned about the pandemic. I remember throwing up in the restroom at the grocery store and having to put my mask back on.
@DrCamiloOrtiz You are looking for studies to refute what is mammalian common sense to keep your babies close. What other animal needs to be trained to sleep? You think you’re smarter than hundreds of thousands of years of evolution - how smug.
@SpottedBabies@Shrogan@soigomaa I’ve been to several and have actually never been to one where the food was paid for/provided by anyone other than the grieving family…
@thecavemommy Have never, would never give my children an ipad or phone at a restaurant. Still need to walk around with them, engage with them, they still sometimes behave like animals. We try to only go to places no one would ever propose marriage 😬 and we clean up and tip well.
@ClareCraigPath How crazy. I got covid in January 2022 and was fairly sick. Our son was 14 months old at the time and slept in bed with me and my husband. No one “self isolated”, we just carried on. No one else in my household even became ill.
@BrunetteLifts@ThymeToBeBorn This same stomach bug happened to me and my husband last New Years Eve. Our 7 month old did not get the message from the Lord 😣
@JohnAylwin@Aesthetic_City White and black everything. Painted stone. Faux stone in completely unrealistic shapes/colors. It’s so hideous but it often goes hand in hand with the modern aesthetic.
@nob12deficiency@soigomaa Hundreds of millions of years of mammalian evolution and fine tuning vs someone obsessed with b12 and a so-called “deficiency”. Hmm.
@KBr_enthusiast@thecavemommy Agreed. And I am a statistician. We are told to ignore what is clear as day in front of our faces in favor of imperfect models.
