@usanewshq It's not moving relative to the car, it's moving 50mph relative to the outside, it's moving 29.8km/s orbital speed (around the sun).
It's moving faster than the speed of light relative to objects flung the other way at the birth of the universe.
@TheJeffBoski Not a single correct response in thread, which is:
Calculate equity then apply Kelly.
There's probably like 20 combos with 16-20% equity you might be up against and 1 combo of 76dd you're flipping against.
Kelly would advice 60% of bankroll on an 80% fav at even money.
@BasedGains@RyanSAdams The game theory is not clear. Locking up capital to assist with this task is only productive if a number of requirements are met, e.g. risk of hostile centralization exceeding a threshold. You're better off freeloading until you're not and then you might as well fork.
@SaraSmartist@WSox2022@ALLinAK@MaxEffort313 You're wrong. People use poker as a way to gamble and convince themselves they're better than they are. Its a recreational and social activity that is often more affordable than travel, boat ownership or pokemon card collection. Let people escape reality in peace.
@SaraSmartist@TheShayneM@GodMode248 Recs don't want to know their own results, much less have their performance on public display.
I dealt with the sharkscope uproar & subsequent limitations as part of pokerstars operations (and several similar issues), and am certain player sentiment on this issue is opt-in only.
@tjbey2000@VanjaPoker You dont understand them then, nor the fact that your VIPs are completely clueless about BP strategy and incapable of counting cards and calculating equity.
@junglemandan Wealth is never created in a vacuum. It relies on societal infrastructure (education, health care, social mobility, roads, energy, etc).
Govt being mismanaged is a separate topic.
@jdcmedlock I could write essays, but you need to make huge sweeping for-good changes then limit the executive, reform SCOTUS, reform congress, then gain mandate to reform the republic itself.
@jdcmedlock Looking in from a European perspective, the fraud is institutionalized to such a degree it has to be rooted out at the core. Full reform of everything, starting with universal health care and a *complete* overhaul of criminal justice (at all levels).
