@garryslist According to Grok, UC has been increasing the number of Nobel Prize winners in the 21st century. Researchwise, they have been doing an excellent job apparently

59 years ago today, Israel attacked the USS Liberty in international waters. 34 crew members were killed and 174 were wounded by the IDF.
Today, I spoke on the House floor to honor the fallen and to recognize the survivors who were present in the gallery.
@KaelanDC@JudicialWatch Misleading: the police officer stated that she *received* two emails from Crooks. She did not say that she *exchanged* emails, which would mean that she also sent emails to Crooks.
@jangelooff It would be even more interesting get the story on who arrested the police sergeant. I assume his unit would tip him off, and I assume he is friends with police in the town where he lives. Did the AP contact state troopers? Internal affairs?
@eltonalikaj@AgonMaliqi Investments are great. The problem here is that the politicians take prime public property, line their pockets, and don’t compensate the public that loses the beach.
I suspect the protests erupted because similar schemes have been happening for a while.
Senators rich with gold and slaves from conquered provinces were either buying out land or forcing out free farmers, who were then forced to walk behind the Senators and beg. The elites competed who will have more beggars walking behind them.
The fear is that AI and robots will take over the jobs and property, and we will be all forced to become digital beggars, ie. influencers doling out accolades and likes.
This reminded me to read Mike Duncan’s “The Storm Before the Storm”
@youmediv@WEschenbach “Reasonable” leftist thinks it is better to be unemployed than have a job that pays under a living wage. They also think that it is better to have no housing than to pay to a landlord.
USAID & AIDS: If you hear "AIDS relief" is why we need USAID, you need to first know how insanely cooked the AIDS numbers were, & how massively abused these aid programs are. Watch this 2009 film, "House of Numbers." If you thought Covid was bad, you ain't seen nothin' yet.
@TheSCIF@SharylAttkisson This is a nothing-burger. If Trump administration doesn’t want to prosecute the postmen, postal managers, voting commissioners, Dominion voting machine techs and managers who manipulated votes, then there is officially no voting fraud.
You really can't make this up.
A White guy in Toronto stopped a bike thief.
A black man on a scooter rode up to break up the fight.
The teen the black man saved then tries to steal his scooter.
What in the world.
You are right, Trump has done a phenomenal so far job shifting the Overton window. Will he keep shifting it, or is he captured by the swamp, like in his 1st term? If he decreased spending by even 1%, I would be hopeful. But he cast aside his best supporters (Elon, Vivek, MTG, Massie), didn’t arrest anyone from FBI/CIA who illegally persecuted and censored conservatives, didn’t secure elections, started a war.
You might be right that going faster is not possible, but I am suspicious.
