@PietAlberts1206@blueorigin That could be normal. You would just burn at 100 miles to raise apogee. It's more efficient to burn at lower altitudes, then circularize from apogee. Depends on mission design. If perigee is too low however, that's where you run into trouble, aka, the atmosphere.
Recently switched to @BellAliant FiberOp Internet. After waiting on hold indefinitely this morning, I realize I have made a grave mistake. This was my second unsuccessful attempt to reach a human (I also scheduled a service call online, but they never showed up).
@Bell Attempted to get wireless internet with Bell. We need this for the observatory near Peggy's Cove. Tried ordering twice. Each time they said, "We'll call you back in a few days".
They never called back.
Observatory should be online later this week with @Rogers
Just picked up the form for the new pier/base for the @AbbeyRidgeObs restoration project! (We only need ~4 ft, but this diameter form only comes in one size). YouTube video coming soon!
As many of you know, my book "A Kid's Guide to The Night Sky" is coming out this October (previously "Learn To Stargaze for Kids"). @BNBuzz is offering 25% off all Preorders between July 10th and July 17th. Check it out!
@elonmusk The Burke-Gaffney Observatory’s (@smubgobs) interface got booted from Twitter. This is how we interact with the observatory. Important space-science is being obstructed.
