For the GEAR project, these organisations are an indispensable partner because they are the last-mile community link and advocacy structure to advance the advocacy issues generated by the local communities we work in. These local organisations support us with the implementation of policies and strategies for the promotion of gender equality and the socioeconomic rights of women and girls.

Local actors are the bridge to enhance the equitable participation of women and girls in meaningful decision-making processes, helping them claim their rights, voices, leadership, agency, and power to live dignified lives and promote sustainable development.
