@patrick_barkham I really hope so. I grew up in Costessey and walking / cycling up that valley was always a treat. Last summer I saw a kingfisher hunting exactly where the road is planned, and further up Marriot's Way a sea eagle landed right on the path. An irreparably damaging scheme.

@MonsieurBenger @davidgrawlings Agreed. This often feeds into later misconceptions that Korea / Vietnam / Cuba / Nicaragua / Afghanistan were struggles of capitalist democracies vs communist dictatorships and obscures the nuances of those conflicts.
