We have dog haters in India constantly demanding “civilized country laws” whenever they want stray dogs removed or killed.

But here is the reality they don’t want to see:

A puppy was simply playing on a road in India. A man deliberately broke the small puppy’s leg for fun.
A foreigner passing by witnessed the entire incident and openly condemned the man for his cruelty.
That is how seriously many countries view animal cruelty. 🐶⚠️

Imagine if this is how animal abusers are viewed internationally, what do you think would happen if Indian dog haters openly spread the same violent, hateful comments in those countries?

The world is changing. Animal cruelty is no longer being treated as “normal behavior.” In many countries, hurting animals immediately labels a person as dangerous, unstable, and violent.

Meanwhile in India, people openly celebrate cruelty against voiceless dogs, record abuse videos for entertainment, and casually call for mass killings online. And when powerful institutions normalize hatred through careless comments and selective outrage, it only encourages more violence on the streets. 💔

India already struggles with a terrible international reputation regarding violence against vulnerable beings. Every time cruelty against animals is justified, ignored, or encouraged, it damages the image of the country and its people even further.

They all say the same thing “We can receive all the donations we need to function but eventually we only have that much physical space.” The only space left to put our community dogs. Our indies, is in human homes. So along with supporting every single animal activist, NGO and initiative can I please use this account to urge you to adopt one in your home. A rescue indie adds approximately 2000 to 3500 rupees to your monthly expenditure. It’s not a small amount, but a small price to pay for unconditional love. A dog rescued is not subject to the whims of any court or leader. It is hands down the best decision you will ever make 🙏 I speak from the experience of having owner a breed dog who I loved very much, to then rescuing two indies. I will never go back to breeder dogs again. Do try it pls ❤️
