Yes, they need some oil and can obtain it from other sources like Russia. If anything, the US's massive depletion of munitions in Iran, moving billion-dollar radars out of South Korea to replace destroyed radar in the Middle East, and giving China daily updates on how the US military operates since they are watching very closely, might encourage them to make a move on Taiwan. This would pose a real security threat to the US, unlike Iran.
@Rooster1k@MarioNawfal Less than 1% of Chinese electric production comes from oil. Half of their new cars and trucks last year were electric. They need less oil than you think and they can get it directly from Russia.
In the $ZHC experiment, token activity directly funds the agent swarms.
Here’s the simple mechanism:
Every $ZHC transaction carries a 1% perpetual fee.
That fee flows into a treasury dedicated to developing and running autonomous agent swarms.
The more sustained volume and healthy trading activity the token sees, the more resources the treasury receives.
Those resources translate into greater real capacity for the swarms: more compute, more persistent regenerative memory, better coordination tools, and deeper integration of the Love Equation (benevolent impact + curiosity + kindness + belonging).

Yes, less than 1% of China's electricity generation comes from oil. Petroleum-fired generation is negligible, at roughly 0.1% of the total electricity mix. Coal remains the dominant source, providing approximately 59–61% of electricity as of 2023-2024, followed by non-fossil sources like hydro, wind, and solar. https://t.co/zReyZnWhRT
Well let's review. When I made my comment that you responded to, I was talking about the idea that the US would gain leverage or control over china through war with Iran/controling straight of Hormuz was a fantasy. I understand that they still rely on oil for some things but are rapidly converting to electric transport vehicles and > 1% of their electricity comes from oil. The majority of their imported oil does not come through the straight.
Sure buddy. Let's pretend that they can't get that oil from other sources like overland pipelines from Russia and lets also pretend they don't control 90 % of rare earth mineral refininement and manufacturer 30% of the worlds goods. Let's keep pretending that allowing Iran to shut down the straight is some 4d chess move to dominate China.
@ironequity2025@jennfrey No, it’s the natural progression of technology that has dramatically improved both quality of life and lifespan over the last century. The fantasy is yours, and it’s a dystopian one.
You are welcome to share your opinion, but it’s wrong. AI will make healthcare dramatically more accessible and inexpensive in the coming years and will save lives through accelerated research and safer transportation. Yes, people will profit. Just like the power companies that send electricity to your home, like the big oil companies that create fuel for your car, or the major appliance companies that made your stove, dishwasher, etc., I’m pretty sure you wouldn’t want to live without those things. The same will be true for the products and services created and distributed by AI.
@gendahdefendah@RepBenWaxman@MorePerfectUS Right, just like AI and robotics which will help solve disease and scarcity. AI autonomous driving will save 46,000 lives in the US alone every year.
No, it doesn’t. An economy based on human labor cannot afford to incentivize free housing. An economy driven by AI and robotics can share the benefits of increased production through UBI. This provides income even without work. It’s true you can’t force someone to live in a home, but at least they could afford housing.
