@iDrSunny The PA is supervised and if they have discussed their management plan with the consultant or reg and they agree with this then why wouldn’t you be satisfied? I don’t know of any PAs who discharge w/o consultant input.
@Megsenmumdr Also, findoadenoma are called breast mice for a reason, they fluctuate with hormones and can be more palpable at different times of a woman’s menstrual cycle and shrink in menopause. So it’s not at all surprising to me. The patient underwent the gold standard of US and biopsy.
@Megsenmumdr So you decided to post about a poor patient experience online on X? Before finding out the facts? You don’t even know what their job role is and yet you’re spreading more propaganda against MAPs?
@ClinOncDoc@ukmat82@gmcuk The biggest ‘mistake’ was taking this long to regulate MAPs and to allow a rampant disinformation smear campaign against them to scaremonger the public.
@Doc_IonaCollins I think you need to learn better English and how to read before posting online. You look incredibly dumb here, it does not say MAP’s are like doctors 🤣🤣🤣
@ClinOncDoc@uhbtrust@pa_StephenNash@UMAPsUK Why would PAs want to directly cause harm to patients? Because that’s essentially what you’re asking them to do here. I think you should put your own patients safety first, above all politics. If you can’t do that you’re in the wrong career.
@FunctionsZeta@parthaskar@pa_StephenNash@LittlePersonDoc Please keep going - you’re an anonymous account hiding behind a computer screen. It shows the public exactly your level of intelligence and maturity. No further comment necessary.
@parthaskar@pa_StephenNash@LittlePersonDoc He has been one of the bravest people and PA’s I know and he is an example of EXACTLY what a leader does. I am proud to be part of UMAPS and I stand by Stephen. He has been forthright and open and created a safe place for PAs. No Partha you are at fault.
@WelshGasDoc Isn’t it interesting how you all act like sheep and instantly believe everything on Twitter is factual and true? Anyone could make this shit up to fuel the 🔥 against a profession- that is currently being trashed by elitism and bullies 😂
@LizPeecock@cjsnowdon And you speak for the entirety of the public and patient domain in the UK Liz pees cocks? I’d be more than happy to see a PA or AA. I know some fantastic ones and they gave me the upmost quality of care to me.
@SameenaAhmad7 @IncogAssociate @gmcuk@rcgp You sound like a bully and also just because it’s so rife, that makes it perfectly acceptable and justifiable? You need to take a good hard long look at yourself Sameena
@JTSglobalhealth@walsh_joe Yes but PAs with PhD are now forbidden to use the title, which makes me wonder where does it end as you could argue this in other professions. It’s like a kick to the teeth for PAs and devaluing them for their hard work to earn their doctorate too in their field of expertise
@JazLaFleur @mobilhealthuk@MarkHBrierley@DrAsifQasim@Emma_Chewter They assist entire team not just doctors hence the name change yo avoid confusion - giving impression they are only assistant to doctor and no one else.
