We resuscitate & care for people who we know are murderers, rapists or people with swastikas tattooed on their faces & give them the same, great care that we give the next person

Whenever I wonder if step 2 CS should be permanently canceled I think about when I traveled 3,000 miles to see a standardized patient with bloody diarrhea and when I asked to do a rectal exam he handed me a card that said “there’s blood”
