@Gen6G To extend this a bit, coldcard didn't test this well and are too confident on the quality of their screens whereas jade and others for instance always use animated BBQr and never produce this issue

@Gen6G The problem is that CC-Q doesn't always use animated BBQr. For 2-of-3 txs with small number of in/outs it opts to non-animated qr and the resulting QR is extremely dense. You can use latest macbook and it won't be able to scan
