@CanadaGoose911 Wonder if there’s a study showing union pressure -> strike -> lost $ -> gained $ = better $ over the long run? Like, if there was no union pressure since the 50s, would most of us be earning less? People nearing retirement complain sometimes, but maybe they’re still better off?

I would like to thank @CityofVancouver for giving my parents a $125 fine for forgetting (dad thought he did it) to submit paperwork for the empty home tax. And if they don’t pay by March 5th it goes up like a parking ticket. Just… so dumb… @KenSimCity @CityNewsVAN @VancouverSun

@paranoiacs It’s a long story, but I once walked past Roger Daltrey holding a guitar. I couldn’t resist & strummed the first chord of PW. He gave me a dirty look & I promised with a smile that he didn’t have to sing… Obnoxious of me in hindsight, but a surreal moment for a very big fan.

@dockevinmcleod My wife had severe abd & back pains for 3 days in 2019, no GP, so never tested for anything over the years & massive wait times at all the ERs, so she just kind of slept it off, “I’m fine”. 2 yrs later, tumours all over, appendix cancer. She passed away last April…
