Love having @NSWAmbulance ICP trainee in our OT - great way to pay it forward by ensuring they are the best they can be - our community deserves it #BetterTogether So impressive seeing @ANZCA fellows and trainees supporting our ICPs - thanks
You don't need to be sexually assaulted to understand that it is wrong. You don't need someone else to tell you to care & act. Being a "bloke" doesn't excuse your ignorance. Plenty of men have been abused, & plenty stand with women in solidarity. This PM doesn't get it #auspol
Climate change made Australia’s devastating fire season 30% more likely
But researchers say the result is conservative, and that weather conditions that make fires more likely will continue to worsen.

I am not so much worried about 2% mortality with COVID19.
I am worried about reported 10% or so requiring mechanical ventilation
Hospitals…will…not…cope.
Social isolation, cough etiquette, handwashing - stay home if symptoms. These are the messages

This week in England a new best practice tariff for all Major Trauma Centres comes in to effect:
- All pts >65yrs must have a clinical frailty scale completed by geriatrician within 72hrs of admission
A HUGE step forward in driving quality care for older trauma patients 😀👌🎉
Dear @smaccteam ... as a member of an ambulance service where we are involved in a prehospital ECMO study by paramedics alone in the field, we are not just “ambulance drivers”. Most services are not. No more than the “police car drivers” and the “fire truck drivers”
@rvau27 @martynichols9@NSWAmbulance Absolutely agreed one standard of care across the service will not only I believe improved FPS but promote an evidence based approach. Adopting a checklist approach is intuitive
#smacc patient journeys evoke emotions that are powerful and life changing however often forgotten or pushed aside. Let emotion drive you to be the best and not control or over power you.
