Hey @AirCanada I've been on hold for 3 hrs over the last two days and can't get through to anyone/when I do, they put me on hold and never come back? I'm just trying to redeem a travel EMD. when can I expect to speak to someone? Got a alternative phone line?
@514charles@pierre_barns You should probably also mention the insane about of child molestation at the hands of the church + residential school leaders, just sayin'
@BradWestPoCo@TheAtlantic Hey Brad, I'm quite concerned that you'd repost an op-ed written by Frum...the guy who played a central role in justifying the illegal Siege of Iraq...I honestly expect better of a BC mayor.
@KEriksenV2 Sorry - you did all that work and now you're working for OneBC? Seems questionable. And if it's true, that's a wild slide down the rabbit hole
@belligerentNuck Lol trying to sound so hard...didn't even bother looking into it. And let's set the record straight, we should definitely give huge portions of the land back to Indigenous people as a small step toward reconciling the terrible things this country has done.
@Dallas_Brodie As a Canadian, I fully support giving tons of #landback to Indigenous People and First Nations. We have barely started correcting the intense injustices our society caused Indigenous People.
@JohnRustad4BC The 4th one is so funny because like, it's deeply true. Completely uninvited, we are occupying this land via a country built on a genocide that Hitler was quoted as being inspired by...
@Mark_Sisson I love seeing this tweet just getting absolutely railed by basic ecological knowledge and stats. I'll add that what we're doing to the worlds' soils to grow mono-culture grains to feed them is as key a feature as the animals themselves
@ProudMacLeod67 @mutanttoad@nationalpost What about the impacts of importing millions of Europeans in the over the last 150 years? No big deal...just 100 million dead indigenous folks so we could love here. We're all immigrants. Someone from Palestine would likely be much more peaceful than many "Canadians"
Public healthcare costs billions of dollars a year and itโs one of the most beloved aspects of the Canadian social fabric.
The idea that a mass buildout of public and permanently affordable housing should only be pursued if itโs fully self-financing is bad.
