My sister thinks I'm trying to sabotage her upcoming marriage because her fiancé is my ex. Nearly ten years ago, when we were in high school, he and I dated for about six months. We weren't serious, but we did have a physical relationship. Things ended peacefully, and we stayed friends throughout high school and college. Years later, my sister moved back to our hometown, reconnected with him, and they started dating. She actually asked if I was comfortable with it, and I told her I had absolutely no problem. I was completely over him, and our teenage relationship meant nothing to me anymore.

AMERICA HAS SPOKEN, BUT IS WASHINGTON LISTENING? 🇺🇸
The 2026 midterm elections have delivered a major political shift, with Democrats reclaiming the Senate and Republicans facing significant losses.
For many voters, the cost of living, economic uncertainty and Trump’s policies were central issues.
But here’s the bigger question:
Is America rejecting Trump’s leadership, or simply demanding greater accountability from those in power? #Midterms2026
I had been working in my new company for just two months when I received my salary alert. To my surprise, the company paid me twice. I immediately assumed it was a payroll mistake, so I kept quiet and decided to enjoy the extra money.
Three days later, HR invited me into the office.
HR: We noticed you received two salary payments. Why didn’t you report it?
Me: I thought the company made a mistake, but I wasn’t sure.
HR: And you decided to keep the money?
Me: I was waiting to see if anyone would contact me.
HR: Congratulations. This was an integrity test. We wanted to see if you would report the extra payment.
I was shocked. They explained that the second payment was only a test, and my response would determine whether I passed my probation.
I had never imagined that my first two months at work would come with such a test!
Before Elon Musk became a billionaire, he was a young boy in South Africa who taught himself computer programming. But his journey to global fame wasn’t as straightforward as many imagine.
Born in Pretoria in 1971, Musk grew up in a financially comfortable family, but his childhood was also marked by bullying and family difficulties.
At just 12, he developed a video game called Blastar and sold its code for approximately $500.
At 17, he left South Africa for Canada, later moving to the United States, where he studied physics and economics.
In 1995, he co-founded Zip2 with his brother. Four years later, the company was sold for over $300 million, earning Musk approximately $22 million.
He then ventured into online banking with, which eventually became part of PayPal. When eBay acquired PayPal in 2002 for $1.5 billion, Musk had the financial foundation to pursue much bigger ambitions.
Instead of settling into a comfortable life, he founded SpaceX and invested heavily in Tesla, a young electric car company he joined in 2004.
SpaceX suffered repeated rocket failures. Tesla faced serious financial difficulties. By 2008, both businesses were under enormous pressure.
Yet those same companies eventually transformed his public image from successful technology entrepreneur into a globally recognised industrialist.
His acquisition of Twitter in 2022, later renamed X, pushed his influence beyond technology into media, culture and politics.
Today, Musk is admired by millions for his ambition and criticised by others for his management decisions, public statements and political involvement.
But perhaps the most interesting part of his story isn’t how much money he accumulated.
It’s how he repeatedly used the wealth from one business to pursue an even riskier ambition.
Was Elon Musk’s rise primarily the result of extraordinary intelligence, calculated risk-taking, privileged beginnings, or simply being in the right industries at the right time?
Host: Okay, I need to ask you something, Chloe. Do you always look at men like that?
Chloe: Smiles innocently. Like what?
Host: THAT! That little smile! You know exactly what you’re doing!
Chloe: Laughs. I’m literally just looking at you!
Host: Well, stop it! I’m trying to be a professional, and you’re making that extremely difficult.
Audience: Bursts into laughter.
Chloe: Aww, are you nervous around me?
Host: Nervous?! I’ve interviewed some of the most beautiful women in Hollywood!
Chloe: And yet you’ve forgotten what you were going to ask me.
Host: Looks at his notes. That’s completely unrelated!
Audience: Roars with laughter.
Chloe: Leans closer. You know, I actually think you’re kind of cute when you’re embarrassed.
Host: Oh, wonderful! Now she’s complimenting me. This is how careers end!
Chloe: Laughs. Can’t you just accept a compliment?
Host: From you? Absolutely! I’d just prefer you deliver it while I’m wearing a heart monitor.
Audience: Explodes with laughter.
Chloe: Smirks. So, are you always this charming, or are you trying to impress me?
Host: I’m not trying to impress you. I’m trying very hard not to make a fool of myself.
Chloe: Smiling. Too late. But I think it’s adorable.
Host: ADORABLE?! I’ve spent twenty years building a reputation, and you’ve reduced me to a nervous teenager!
Chloe: Laughing. Well, at least I made you feel young again.
Host: You certainly did. Unfortunately, my blood pressure now belongs to a 90-year-old man!
Audience: Erupts in laughter and applause.
Chloe: Looks into his eyes. You’re funny. I like that.
Host: Pauses, smiling. Okay… now I’m actually nervous.
Audience: GOES WILD! 😭😂
Host: Hold on! Before we get to the interview, who approved that dress? I need their name!
Woman: (Laughs) Why? Are you planning to file a complaint?
Host: I'm planning to file a complaint with the fashion department! You walked in here looking like the grand finale of a fashion show!
Audience: Bursts into laughter.
Woman: Well, I didn't come here to blend in with your curtains.
Host: Ouch! That's the first personal attack of the evening, and we're barely two minutes in!
Woman: You started it. I was sitting here minding my business.
Host: Minding your business? You walked onto my stage wearing a dress with more plot twists than a Netflix thriller!
Audience: Roars with laughter.
Woman: At least my dress has a storyline. What's the excuse for that tie?
Host: (Looks down at his tie) Excuse me! This tie has been professionally selected!
Woman: By someone who clearly doesn't like you.
Audience: Explodes with laughter.
Host: WOW! Somebody get her a microphone and give me a glass of water. I'm getting destroyed on my own show!
Woman: (Smirks) You invited me. Don't start regretting your decisions now.
Host: Trust me, I'm already having a meeting with my booking manager tomorrow!
Woman: Just admit you like the dress.
Host: I like the dress! I just don't understand how you managed to make an entire fashion statement with approximately three buttons and a prayer!
Audience: Erupts in laughter.
Woman: And yet you've spent the entire interview talking about it. Sounds like the dress is doing a better job than your questions.
Host: (Raises his hands) Ladies and gentlemen, she's beautiful, she's confident, and apparently, she's also unemployed as a guest because she's taken over the entire show!
Woman: Don't worry. I'll send you my hosting invoice.
Host: An invoice?! After what you've done to my confidence? I should be sending YOU a bill for emotional damages!
Audience: Cheers and applauds.
Woman: (Laughing) You're welcome. Consider it entertainment!
Host: Well, one thing is certain. That dress deserves its own guest chair next time!
Woman: Only if you promise not to interview it.
Host: I wouldn't dare. It looks like it has sharper comebacks than you do!
Audience: Bursts into laughter and applause.
