@odalisr1999@csub_techteach1 Hello Odalis, having the video of a past lecture on hand is great to help students understand or study for a test. Personally, I love when teachers have lesson videos and I always use them.
@csub_techteach1 The screen capture software I would like to implement in the classroom is Screencastify. I would use it to record tutorials for my students, for example, about how to access or use some kind of technology or software.
@odalisr1999@csub_techteach1 Hello Odalis, I love the idea of flashcards. They are great to study and also have the main information of a lesson at hand to memorize it. Also, Kahoot is a great tool with many options besides flashcards that you can use to implement a lesson plan.
@csub_techteach1 My favorite Technology tool to implement in Lesson Plan would be Pear Deck. Pear Deck is great for interactive lessons. Teachers can add text, questions, or websites to their presentations and also can have students' responses in real-time to offer feedback.
@_MsDimpless@csub_techteach1 Hello, I agree with you. Google Slides and Forms are great tools to share information between students and students with the teacher. I love that these tools have the option to share the documents and the information on them.
@csub_techteach1 My favorite Google Tool, and the one that I use more is Google Docs. I would implement this tool to make essays or create group projects because it is very useful to work collaboratively since many users can share and edit the content.
@EvaHernandez197@csub_techteach1 Hello Eva, As well as you I learned a lot of the tools that an Ipad has to offer, some times we don't know how to do the assignments because we don't know all the options available to us on a device.
@csub_techteach1 In this Tech Quest Portfolio I had to put more of my time and my effort to get through it. It has been a little difficult for me. The Tech Quest Activity that I have found more useful is the Apple Teacher badges because I learned a lot of tools that I can use on an Ipad.
@MayaCsub23@csub_techteach1 I agree with you. Using Google forms you can obtain information about the cultural diversity of your students. Thus, you could plan more activities such as, for example, one day of the month you can dedicate it to talk about Hispanic culture, another month, Indian culture, etc.
@csub_techteach1 My Tech Quest Portfolio is going very well so far. One of the activities that can meet the cultural needs of my students is a video of a Spanish lesson that I made on Edpuzzle. Many students here in California are of Latino origin and Spanish is part of their culture.
@_MsDimpless@csub_techteach1 Hello, google forms and poll everywhere are great tools that we as future teachers can use to gather key information about our students learning and to see all that information instantly. You can use them as assessments or as polls. Great choice.
@csub_techteach1 I would like to use Pear Deck to interact with my students during class and can gather the information that would help me to know if they understood the lesson making key questions about their understanding of the topic in discussion.
@kallielaine5@csub_techteach1 Hello, I also think Flubaroo is great for grading. You can have the individual grades of each student and at the same time group averages and percentages all in one click.
@csub_techteach1 The grading tool I would use to evaluate my students would be Google Forms because I can create the quizzes in it and instantly receive the grades of all the students as soon as they finish. I think it is a very user-friendly tool for both the teacher and the students.
@MayaCsub23@csub_techteach1 Hello Maya, I also chose a tool with which I feel more familiar with it. In my case, it's PowerPoint, maybe because I'm from an older generation but I still think they're still very useful.
@csub_techteach1 I will use PowerPoint for my slides presentation because I like the templates and the tools it has. I can make a video in Youtube with that presentation. Also, I will use Zoom to present it in an online meeting by sharing my screen with the class.
@VanessaRM_csub@csub_techteach1 Pear Deck is a great tool. It is fun for the students and the professor can get answers to discussion questions, quizzes, or surveys instantly. At the same time, professors can show or keep the answers anonymous.
@csub_techteach1 I would like to use Pear Deck to have interactive assessments and instantly keep track of my students' learning. I have been using Pear Deck in another class already and is fun and engaging for us as students and my teacher gets answers from us right away to her questions.
@shyjimi@csub_techteach1 One of the activities I used in my tech quest was precisely Google forms, I think it is an excellent tool. It is not complicated to use either for teachers or students and it is great to assess students' knowledge in an easy way.
@csub_techteach1 I would like to use Quizlet's flashcards with my students. We can use them to make questions related to the class and make it a fun game where there would be teams and the winner is the team with more correct answers. That way my students can practice and study in a fun way.
