Are the poor horses wearing correct shoes??
Are they insured?? DEFINITELY NOT 😡😡😡

If there’s another accident today, do we have more cowards driving these poor horses???

💔💔 Today’s IRELAND — Left to Die in Tolka Park, Finglas, Dublin💔💔

Bank Holiday morning in Tolka Park. A man walking his dog can’t believe what he is seeing 💔
Against a fence lies a beautiful grey horse. Lifeless.
The struggle that this poor horse must have gone through before breaking its neck, its head collar stuck. Horrendous.

Other poor horses standing beside the defenceless body along with an innocent foal.

An Garda Síochána aren’t equipped to remove a dead horse. The DSPCA closed for the weekend.
This is Fingal County Council and Dublin City Council Animal Welfare Unit land.
The call comes to us, My Lovely Horse Animal Rescue. We of course rushed to Finglas but nothing we could do, our Animal Welfare Team heart broken 💔💔

We contacted and spoke to Fingal County Council and Dublin City Council Animal Welfsre Unit.

Meanwhile, children pass by on their way to GAA, football, confronted with a sight no child should see. This is a council park, so unsafe for children to play in.

This IS NOT a one off, it’s a system in collapse.
•No Garda-led Animal Welfare Unit.
•No 24/7 emergency cover.
•No National Director of Animal Welfare.
•Horses dumped, starved, forgotten.

Up the road in Dunsink, over 90 horses breed unchecked on a landfill. Starving, injured, abandoned — while nothing changes.
Ireland’s animal welfare system is severely broken.

We can’t keep rescuing our way out of this. We need real action.

📢 Sign and share our petition. Demand real protection for Ireland’s animals.

RIP to this poor urban horse, we are so sorry 💔💔💔

BUSTED: PETA's new 6-month undercover investigation reveals senior dogs & cats being warehoused to be rented out & experimented on in a lab.

How can humans have such appalling disregard for our fellow sentient beings? If you must eat meat, please look for a local free range farm. Go and visit to see what it's really like. Ask how the birds are slaughtered. Or just leave off the plate...

📢 RTE again exposes the cruelty behind live export, male dairy calves in particular. This time they dig deeper. From abuse at assembly centres in Ireland to unweaned calves flown to Libya. The industry cannot claim ignorance, we've been exposing this for years!

TOUCHING story behind LIAM GALLAGHER’s work to help save animals.

The owner of the Happy Doggo charity, Niall Harbison, recently shared on Twitter/X how Gallagher has raised £25,000 to help dogs in Thailand, with the funds going towards building a hospital for the dogs currently living at the charity. This is a cause near and dear to Gallagher’s heart since he adopted his own dog Buttons from Happy Doggo last year.

“A story that proves not all is bad in the world and which I guarantee will make you smile. It features a street dog called Buttons, rock star Liam Gallagher, and the building of a hospital for a dog called Tina,” Harbison wrote on Twitter/X.

Harbison continued, explaining how they rescued Buttons and put her up for adoption. “Long story short Liam Gallagher applied. When the application came in it listed the occupation as “singer”. I presumed my mates were taking the piss,” he wrote. “Surprisingly it was real. Liam even knew the other dogs from online. Buttons had a beautiful forever home.”

“Buttons has settled in and is absolutely adored by Liam and family. She is treated like a queen. This year Liam Gallagher has been on tour and dedicated the aptly named “Half the World Away” to Buttons. But that was just the start…”

Harbison went on to explain that Gallagher decided to auction off the giant globe that was used on stage during his Oasis “Definitely Maybe” 30th anniversary tour this year in order to raise funds for the organization.

“The globe was auctioned and Co-op were kind enough to take it,” Harbison continued. “It will be a feature in the new Co-op Live venue in Manchester, where visitors can see it before all events. The fact it is a globe and Buttons came from “half the world away” is perfect.”

The £25,000 Co-op donated for the globe has helped Harbison afford to build his hospital, which “will be built on the same piece of jungle where little Buttons used to sneak in on.”

Harbison finished, writing: “Never underestimate the impact dogs can have on us all. Over a year ago little Buttons walked in hoping for a better life. She’s done that and then some. Not everything is bad in the world. Love always wins.”

When you think the Irish greyhound industry can’t get any worse.. Irish greyhounds are being exported to India & Pakistan & lured to race after motorbikes so people can bet.
Thank you @McConalogue @MichealMartinTD for funding cruelty with 20 million a year #defundgreyhoundracing

All #Cali does is sit in a corner and shake....gets on with other Dogs, is very sweet... can we all help her get out of the pound. Imagine one minute you are in your bed at home surrounded by your family & the next you are in a place surrounded by dogs just like you:missing home

Thus is really URGENT - can anyone #help look at this tiny tot missing in difficult terrain to search. She is waiting to go home & is probably hiding. A #thermaldrone #drone needed. Can you pls pls share #Donegal

[dominic dyer @domdyer70]

Turkish Government has shut down access to Instagram no doubt to hide the growing of the round up & mass slaughter of stray dogs across the nation @InsaneHuseyin @MeldaKelemcisoy @RTErdogan #Turkey

[Catríona Lowry @catlowry54]

A drone is badly needed for the rescue world to assist people when their dogs run away/get spooked/stolen - wonder would any company think of donating one. We seem to be constantly begging, but for good reason ❤️
