And that was UNACCEPTABLE.

In 2014, India had just 248 km of Metro lines across 5 cities.

Today, we have nearly 1,200 km across 26 cities.

Over 1 crore people travel by Metro every day.

The impact goes beyond statistics or numbers.

It means less time in traffic, more family time, greater productivity and better opportunities.

This is the transformation we are working towards for urban India!

People who have been following me for a long time know how much I admire RK.

There is absolutely nothing to take away from RK's legacy. But the fact is, after the reception of Kabali, RK reunited with Ranjith for the second time for Kaala. It was the first time in my life for a RK's movie I got a FDFS ticket in counter itself before the FDFS show.

But even after Vivegam with Siruthai Siva and Valimai with H. Vinoth, I continued to witness the same level of pressure, craze, and demand among AK fans for an FDFS show when he reunited with the same directors.

That, in itself, says a lot about the loyalty and madness of AK's fan base!
