Until #Absolute Signalling Block is Changed to #Automatic we can't run more TRAINS.
Ex.ONLY 7% of Egmore-Kanyakumari is AUTOMATIC running just 41-25 daily train services.
If EI and Automatic Block is installed 12-24 trains per hour can be operated

So still there is a huge scope for malpractice in water supply This is being written by me after a call from Respected Deputy chief Manager SR Chennai In order to alleviate this non transparent way of system I do suggest two alternative systems/strategies so that contractors of vandhebharath are not unduly benefitted in supply of water

1 Those passengers in VB not opting for food ,no food charge should be collected ;even Rs 20 should not be collected;If they need water ,passenger should pay money for the bottle(one means Rs 10 (half litre)and two means Rs 20-2 half litre bottles in the train not in ticket contractors will supply only one bottle and claim that he has supplied two bottles This system of supplying water cannot be definitely supervised by TTE as he is very busy with checking tickets receiving penalty and collecting fare for upgradation So in this regard I do completely differ with deputy chief manager commercial chennai Or otherwise those not opting food and requiring one litre bottle should pay Rs 15 in train and purchase and not collected in ticket to avoid misappropriation by contractors

2 Those who are opting for food in vandhebharath directly one litre water bottle should be supplied and those requiring additional one litre should pay the money;

The points 1 and 2 put together will definitely make the system more transparent in vandhebharath and avoid misappropriation of IRCTC money on account of water bottle supply as in the present system 99.99 percent passengers avail 500 mL irctc water bottle in VB and balance is unduly rotated by contractors undue financial benefit at the cost of government exchequer
