@shari_a_morgan I am primarily a visual learner, but I also do well with reading. So, videos, like YouTube and Khan Academy are two great technology tools for visual learners. Khan Academy also has articles to supplement their videos. #wuedt6020

@CanfieldBlaise I agree that it is important as educators to be the role models for appropriate & healthy use of technology. It should come from their parents, but it should also be taught in the classroom. Technology is a good way to collaborate, not be alone with the tech! #wuedt6020

@SydneeProsserWU Yes, having your classroom be student centered rather than teacher centered is important. As instructors, we need to mindfully expose students to technology and in that way, we are being facilitators.

@olivia_tyndall I agree that using technology should be engaging in order to reduce any chances of students' straying from the focus of the classroom to other uses of the technology. And, we should not rely on the tech to do our job, but we should still be coordinators or moderators. #wuedt6020

@olivia_tyndall Blended learning is a great way to give students control over their learning. By doing so, it increases their critical thinking skills, which lends itself to finding more than one solution to a math problem or other type of problem. #wuedt6020
