@DavidSten4 It's like the old Asteroids game in the 80's arcade. Many would pay more than a quarter to get their fingers on those buttons! There is some new Tech almost every week for teachers, but varying your technology choices can keep the 'vintage' tech fresher in your class. #wuedt6020

@shari_a_morgan I am so much a visual learner! When I was in H.S. a math teacher related to my visual style & often showed me problems visually. When teaching concepts I like to use conceptboard, mindmeister, & poppelet. My best is Conceptboard (many can join in on the same tool. #wuedt6020

@SydneeProsserWU There are a couple go-to formative checks that I use, but that is a good one, if they have a few minutes, is utilizing the discussion board in Schoology. another is SeeSaw. These are good tools for obtaining understanding from students rather quickly. #wu6020

I can't remember the organization that I used years ago, experience was incredible. Each of our classes researched foods, designed a restaurant (build., floorPln,etc, menu), so they had to know local foods available. Went much deeper than that. #wuedt6020, #twitterchat, #weekfour

Promoting International Collaboration: Years ago my class connected with another class in Bangladesh on a restaurant project. "Was Incredible" Ended up with the teacher (Kashem) exchanging & staying at our home! Prepared foods for my culinary class. Priceless... #wuedt6020

With todays emerging trends if I had to choose my top-3 picks, I would select Virtual Assistants, Mobile learning, and Gamification. Given today's classroom and the tech levels that my kids are at, they would love it. I think their focus/attention would be better! #wuedt6020
