The truth is, nothing brings people together like sports! ❤️🇺🇸 Watching fans from all over the world sharing laughs, beer, barbecue, and pure joy at the World Cup has been incredible. We the people get along just fine — it’s the politicians causing all the division! Let’s keep that positive energy going!
@sdcta Completely agree. We’re doing ourselves a disservice if we hand them more money that's going to be wasted away in vanity projects with outrageous timelines. However, it feels like we need a more aware electorate to truly move forward.
Instead of a choice between less taxes/worse city services and more taxes/better services, how about “before raising taxes or fees (again) #SanDiego reduces the number of bureaucrats, stops wasting money on vanity projects, and obliges employees to contribute more to their pensions" option?

@jammee2004@Twolfrecovery@MattMahanSJ Mahan is Newsome 2.0. His nickname is “High tax Matt”. Look who’s funding his campaign. That’s who he is going to serve, not the people.
@WallStreetApes I'm completely against wasting tax payer dollars but they paid $45,293,216 across 871 employees which averages out to $52,001 per person. Not that crazy tbh
@swlittauer I don’t see anyone in the comments mentioning the parking at Dodger Stadium is practically useless as you can’t tailgate or even hang out in your car. You’re forced to park and immediately go inside one of the most outdated stadiums in the MLB
