The sad part of Riad Salame's story is that he organized a legal Ponzi that cost more than $40 billion (adjusted for interest), owing to his lack of understanding of how finance works; but will be only punished for a stupid embezzlement case of $300 mil.

Worst, the embarrassing part: he doesn't even know how to embezzle.
