@samirande_ I'm Apple boy since 2012 but am really tired of hardware locks. OS is stable and apps quality is generally good besides edge cases like Hide My Mail if used outside Safari. imo it seems better idea to buy solid, extensible laptop like System76 and run Linux and Win in dual mode.

@levelsio I grew up in a place that saw wealth kind of like Brazil does, but somehow after reading about Marcus Aurelius’ principles and Stoicism, all this stuff that’s meant to look fancy just feels cheap to me. It’s not good or bad, it just is. Glad opulence is not a thing in Europe.

I admit that the comparison is not entirely fair because some features, such as ChatGPT's Advanced Voice Mode, are available only with a subscription. However, for now, these features do not seem to justify the cost.

Hopefully, the pay-as-you-go model will gain broader adoption.
