@LiutaurasJuska @DBelardoMD One you prevent or control the modifiable risk factors, including smoking, HTN, DM and HLD, then you prevent or at least decrease CAD incidence significantly

On the obesity part you’re absolutely correct, also it’s correct that CAD incidence Increased with age because of increase risk of modifiable risk factors

@LiutaurasJuska @DBelardoMD You may argue about prevention when the main reason of Premature CAD is genetics, here you’re right, you can slow and control it’s progression as you can’t change someone genes. Key to remember these patients are not the majority. And majority of CAD can be preventable
