Finally, the END of the Crazy Rice Era!
MARK RICE and MAX RICE have suffered yet another election defeat, bringing their family record to 0-6. If you include their group of misfits' political record, it's even worse, and in many instances, they couldn't even gather enough signatures to qualify. The level of incompetence and irrelevance displayed by this group of misfits is truly astounding. Their collective record stands at 0-12. You really can't make up such a degree of incompetence coming from one group.
FINALLY, Illinois politics is moving on from what voters across the state came to recognize as a loud, unserious clown show, with Max Rice as ONE of its most destructive figures. The rejection wasn’t subtle. Election after election, Illinois made clear that it saw nothing credible, disciplined, or stable with any candidate associated with the Rice family operation—only chaos, spectacle, and self‑inflicted failure and desperation for relevance.
Their erratic behavior, public meltdowns, and reckless attacks were widely viewed as dragging down an already feeble ILGOP. Rather than Max Rice helping his father, Mark Rice, broaden his appeal or project seriousness, Max became an anchor—an unpredictable, volatile presence that reinforced every negative perception voters already held of Mark Rice. The result was decisive: multiple losses that many concluded were sealed by Max Rice’s conduct alone.
Max Rice has shown himself to be a Democratic operative who spreads lies, exaggerations, and misinformation to benefit the Democrats. His relentless sabotage targets grassroots Republicans and organizations, all with the objective of helping Illinois Democrats. When confronted about his actions, he responds with outrage and plays the victim. Illinois did not just reject this behavior; it openly dismissed it as unserious and embarrassing.
Now the Rice family and their cohorts can slither back to the hole they crawled out of, taking their craziness and unstable behavior with them. Amen!
For those of you from IL, please enjoy this spoof video of the Rices and their batshit crazy cohort Rosic Cleveland, who tried to run for Congress! Thankfully, all of them got stomped.

The Chicago Teachers Union finally released “annual” audits to members after five years of fighting their members, a Congressional inquiry, and a potential U.S. Department of Labor investigation.
Now we know why they wished to keep them private:
At least two of CTU's combined financial statements are seriously flawed. An independent auditor issued adverse opinions about the statements, which means the auditor concluded the union’s finances were misstated in a material and pervasive way.
Two combined financial statements include the union and its two PACs. The union “elected to omit” activities of the Chicago Teachers Union Foundation and the Children and Teachers Foundation of the Chicago Teachers Union. As a result, the auditor found the combined financial statements “do not represent fairly the financial position of the Chicago Teachers Union.”
CTU leaders, it turns out, did have something to hide all along.

A woman burned on the CTA by a repeat offender — 49 arrests, 10 felonies, is emblematic of how dangerous Chicago has become under Gov. Pritzker and Mayor Johnson's SAFE-T Act.
As governor, I will fight with all my power to repeal the SAFE-T Act and restore real safety. #twill
@JeffRatcliffe Listened this AM to fan that had #1 pick in PPR league. You suggested JaMarr and then an RB then WRs. But then I think you said in half PPR, Bijan. Did I hear you right, and will you come out with a Draft Board (which I love) for a half PPR league?
@timztweet44@ScottWapnerCNBC@NJ_MVC@GovMurphy I love it when people complain that even though they’ve ignored the deadlines, they get pissed off when people aren’t just waiting for them to walk in when they have waited until the last minute. Nobody takes responsibility for their own laziness anymore.
@BeckyQuick Hey Beckie. Love the show. I’m wondering if you can require your guests to provide Headshots that are less than 10 years old? The difference between the photos and the way they look is usually pretty hilarious.
@BillMelugin_ How long before this comes to Sanctuary Chicago? Keep it to criminals and no one will complain except the hippie liberals in the 47th Ward
As a guest on @MSNBC said today: to stay in the race will go down as one of the most selfish acts in American political history.
As George Washington knew, walking away voluntarily from power is the real hallmark of democracy.
@SquawkCNBC@BeckyQuick between Elizabeth Warren disrespecting Beckie and Kitty today, I find myself reaching for the mute button on my remote. Passive aggressive, and not realizing that these interviews are a give-and-take and not a soapbox makes watching more difficult.
Illinois Democrats were dealt a blow by the state’s court system as new election law passed by the statehouse and signed by Governor Pritzker intended to take the voice away from Illinois voters was struck down by a Sangamon County court.

NEW: Chicago Teachers Union Vice President Jackson Potter lobs a series of personal attacks at Chicago Ald. Timmy Knudsen, after Knudsen correctly defended Chicago magnet schools as “gems” in the system. Two things to note ⬇️
1. More great government affairs work from Mayor Brandon Johnson’s inner circle on display here, as Potter clearly confused Knudsen with Ald. Bill Conway. Knudsen does not have a billionaire father.
2. Potter has funneled millions of dollars in CTU legal work to his mother, Robin Potter.
