The trailer for my new #shortfilm, THE PARADOXICAL PRODIGY, is out now. Coming soon. https://t.co/IAwu4ZiqTS #movies #new #trailer

Nolan's best film, in my opinion. It also introduced me to its author Christopher Priest, whose Inverted World I am currently reading.

First trailer for the first-ever 70mm film and IMAX release of Christopher Nolan's ‘THE PRESTIGE’.

In theaters on January 29.

@SummerEllenLane @DiscussingFilm I think making anything new and original in an old-world system is hard these days, especially for something as costly as a movie theater. These corps can't do anything anymore except regurgitate whatever previously exists.

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@LKrewis Very much true.

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

Steiner had some pretty fascinating things to say. https://t.co/Ixikj91RCz

@ViKu1111 Very meticulous and well researched. Were she alive before she could've worked on Barry Lyndon or even the unrealized Napoleon.

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@DatChaosGuy And it took how long? Glad it's finally happening. Hope it doesn't disappoint.

One of my recent favorites from Piccioni. https://t.co/8qj6IZ2HvU #PieroPiccioni #ItalianCinema #Italianstyle #roma #VintageMood

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@JovanGThinks Yet it shows up in mythology all the time - just look at Perseus and Andromeda. https://t.co/MTEXSRmtRI

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@TyCadeAZ @Variety I actually liked Legend. It's not as bad as people say it is.

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@Variety Wasn't this the guy who was boycotting Apple and Verizon? https://t.co/08IkqCNeZX

[Movie Life @CinemaisSimple]

Logan's Run (1976)

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

Definitely unusual.

[Time Capsule Tales @timecaptales]

During Queen Elizabeth's funeral procession, a female voice cut into the news feed & was heard saying: "The death is irreversible and the fact that she is trapped..." before it was cut off.

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@LKrewis @Oceaniz96 Very true.

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@Poopiepoopapoo @Oceaniz96 Even independent films in America could do better when compared to their European counterparts, although I am aware there are exceptions.

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@suddenxfear Could you imagine finding this in the ices of Antarctica today?

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

Interesting. Maybe these used to exist in Antarctica.

[sam. @suddenxfear]

for the 1926 silent film the holy mountain, a 50ft tall cathedral was carved entirely from real ice. a level of commitment to filmmaking that seems unthinkable now.

[Manfred Mandrake @mandrakefilms]

@LKrewis Thanks!
