I say this a lot. Beyond grateful for the leadership of this man. Honored to be a part of his @TheIHI mission.

[The King's Fund @TheKingsFund]

We spoke to @DonBerwick, President Emeritus at @theIHI, to ask him how leaders can take care of themselves, and their teams during this crisis.

The @dallascowboys defense put on an all-time performance tonight:

7 SACKS
2 INT
1 PICK-6
1 BLOCKED FG TD
5 FORCED FUMBLES
0 POINTS ALLOWED

[Dallas Cowboys Public Relations @DallasCowboysPR]

The last time an NFL team had their first two touchdowns of a season on special teams and/or defense was Minnesota in 2016 (at TEN, 9/11). It's the first time in Cowboys history that the first two touchdowns of the season came from defense and/or special teams.

[Michael Irvin @michaelirvin88]

That @dallascowboys DEFENSE is so DEFENSIVE!!!!!! 😳😳😳😳🔥🔥🔥🔥

@TheIHI According to @Vivek_Murthy, if we are serious about addressing burnout in health care, we have to reduce the burden on clinicians, offer mental health supports for all, and promote a culture that prioritizes well-being and self care.

[Institute for Healthcare Improvement (IHI) @TheIHI]

Dr. Murthy discusses how stress manifests in our lives during the pandemic, with people experiencing shifts in sleeping patterns or ability to focus at work: "This is one of those moments that being gentle with ourselves & each other is more important than ever before." #IHIForum

Loneliness is a public health issue and we are proud to be taking on this project with the New York City Department of health

[mandy lipka @mandylipka]

It’s easy to feel the psychological safety on the team because of a simple fact that the first question asked is about what matters to each of us and not immediately about the work!

[Jessica Perlo @jperlo8]

One of the things I love about @TheIHI is how our joy team has tackled WFH together @asbalgobin @jesse_a_mccall @RebeccaBrandes7 @mandylipka https://t.co/jcERUhoQ22

[Dave Williams @DaveWilliamsATX]

Planning for improvement requires more than brainstorming a portfolio of projects. You need a method to visualize your current state, logic to make choices, & then discussion on the right work to get results. #QOS #planning

Organizations benefit from a culture of and method for experimentation.

A while ago, I cared for an patient at the end of life in the ICU. Family member came in and showed up wearing this hat. To be honest, it was a bit distracting.

... and he was one of the most caring, thoughtful, and reasonable family members I've had the chance to meet. 🧵

[mandy lipka @mandylipka]

@Jfree36008 Ouch. Glad she had you by her side for those moments.

BREAKING NEWS. Potato Head is evolving again (originally required you bring your own spud). New versions coming this year. At this time, not expecting any effect on my PDSA exercise. Some may want to upgrade toys for 2021/22. https://t.co/xqMKnW56ic
