CJP के नेता अभिनीत दीपके ने बार बार सड़कों पर प्रदर्शन नही किया. केवल कल सड़कों पर तिरंगा फहराने के लिए उतरे थे.

पुलिस ने डिटेन कर लिया. आज उन्हें कोर्ट में पेश किया जायेगा. अगर उन्हें भी आशुतोष रंका और सौरव दास की तरह जेल भेजा गया तो यह लोग 1947 के बाद पहले ऐसे भारतीय बन जाएंगे जिन्हें तिरंगा फहराने के लिए जेल भेजा गया.

अभिजीत दीपके ने नेहा बोरा की तरह ना सड़को पर दौड़ लगाई और ना ही बार बार पुलिस को अपने पीछे दौड़ने को मजबूर किया,

फिर अभिजीत दीपके पर इतनी सख्ती क्यों बरती जा रही. दलित समाज का युवक पहली बार गैर राजनीतिक आंदोलन का नेतृत्व कर रहा है, क्या इसी कारण अभिजीत दीपके को परेशान किया जा रहा है ?

वीडियो उत्तर कोलकाता के चोरबागान सार्वजनीन दुर्गा पूजा का है.. कुछ देर पहले पंडाल में भगदड़ मची.. लोग इधर-उधर भागे.. 18 लोगों की मौत हो गई..
पंडाल में भारी भीड़ थी. तमाम लोग भीतर थे तो सैकड़ो लोग भीतर घुसने की कोशिश कर रहे थे.. लोग बता रहे हैं कि इसी दौरान बारिश होने की वजह से अफरा-तफरी मच गई..
कोलकाता में किसी पूजा पंडाल में इससे पहले इतनी बड़ी दुर्घटना कभी नहीं हुई..
घटना बेहद दुखद है.. मरने वालों की संख्या और भी बढ़ सकती है..

2 of India's 3 Election Commissioners blew the whistle. The referee has been caught rewriting the rules mid-match. 3 weeks on, the Commission is fixing everything it swore was never broken.

This isn't politics. It's an emergency.

On September 23, the country learned that two Election Commissioners had objected to how the Commission was being run under CEC Gyanesh Kumar ECI has since admitted that both of them wrote to the Cabinet Secretary.
When the guardians of India's elections have to raise the alarm about their own institution, every citizen should be paying attention.

Here is what followed -
September 26. The Commission held its first full meeting since the dissent became public. The decisions taken there show how it had been operating:
🔹Meeting agendas will now be circulated in advance, and minutes will now be kept. The body that oversees the world's largest democracy is only now committing to record its own decisions.
🔹Directions from Election Commissioners to officers will now be "meticulously compiled." Until now, apparently, they were not.
🔹A committee will examine whether ECINET complies with the law, after complaints that control of the electoral rolls had been centralised. The system was built first, and its legality is being checked afterwards.

🔹On the same day, ECI told the country that the Supreme Court had upheld its new Declaration Form. On October 5, the Supreme Court said it had upheld no such change. The Commission misrepresented the Supreme Court.
🔹September 29. The ECI ordered a special drive to restore eligible voters who had been deleted during SIR. If the deletions were clean, this drive would not be needed. Its existence is an admission that genuine Indians lost their vote.
🔹October 9. Form 7 objections were capped at 10 per person during the claims period and 5 per month otherwise. Until that day, there was no limit, and a single individual could file objections against voters without any cap. The Commission closed that door only after the dissent became public.
🔹October 15. Parties will finally receive lists of additions, deletions and changes at the draft stage.

This is the transparency the Opposition demanded and the Commission refused. Even now, the "machine-readable" rolls it promises will come in PDF, a format that cannot be machine-read. The concession is designed to sound like more than it is.
Taken together, the Commission's own orders show that the rolls were centralised, voters were deleted, mass objections were possible, records were not kept, and the Supreme Court was misquoted. Each of these was once dismissed as an Opposition allegation. Each has now been acknowledged by the Commission itself.

These questions cannot be answered with circulars:
🔹Who took decisions before September 26, and on whose authority?
🔹How many voters were deleted under SIR, and how many were genuine?
🔹How many Form 7 objections were filed in bulk, and by whom?
🔹Why did the Commission claim Supreme Court approval it never received?

Election Commission belongs to the people of India, not to any one Commissioner and not to any party. A vote taken away is a citizen silenced. We will not stop asking until every one of these questions is answered.

चुनाव आयोग का संबंध जनता से है, सरकार से नहीं- अशोक लवासा

पूर्व चुनाव आयुक्त अशोक लवासा ने साम दाम दंड भेद में बताया कि चुनाव आयोग को लेकर सरकार ने कैसे सेल्फ गोल कर लिया.

उन्होंने पूछा कि अगर सरकार चयन पैनल में CJI को रखती तो क्या हो जाता, और चुनाव आयुक्त ऐसा क्या काम करते हैं कि उन्हें अलग से कानूनी सुरक्षा की ज़रूरत पड़े.

लवासा कहते हैं कि चुनाव आयोग जनता के प्रति जवाबदेह है, ऐसे में अगर नेता प्रतिपक्ष आयोग पर आरोप लगाते हैं तो यह गंभीर बात है.
