Yes that is why I said it should be trans-generational, because of on utero or preconceptional - therefore cannot be attributed to environmental as such! Could be hereditable as well. By the way, I am familiar with environmental toxicology and in utero/transgenerarional effects and did research on these topics. That is why I am responding!

@Gastronaut___ That is why it is important to country/region/race specific normal values for cholesterol, blood glucose etc . National averages for normal values than depending on the international standard values. Is over-diagnosis an issue?
