@garrytan@odyzhou It’s not complicated. A founder knows what real revenue is and what isn’t, because they live or die with actual money coming in. They know GMV isn’t revenue. The only reason why this is made to be complicated is because they want to say things they think VC’s want to hear.
@naval is wrong about vibe coding being the new product management.
In the age of vibe coding, where software becomes a commodity, the PM needs to get closer to the customer, not closer to the code.
Figuring what to build for who is more important than ever.
@jakemor would Superwall consider offering a financing product like Adapty Finance? Would massively help companies with cashflow. We prefer to stay with Superwall and switch to Adapty...
@karpathy Would an LLM also be better at traditional recommendation problems? For example, in shopping to predict what the user might want to buy next? Or what the user wants to see next in a video app?
There’s a coffee shop that pays 2.5x the minimum wage, pays for college, & provides healthcare — even to part-time workers
@HowardSchultz did this without anyone asking — no union was necessary, he did it to be competitive & create a world-class product
Competition drives comp
@DerrickObedgiu Pretty awesome that it also remembers what you're saying and understands the context in the conversation. Is that included in the GPT API?
Stanford Alpaca, a new LLM player, has been fine-tuned with Nvidia A100 x 8 for 3 hours ($100) and augmented with OpenAI GPT-3 ($500). This model can be used on a single GPU or CPU, such as Apple Silicone or Raspberry PI, and offers performance similar to GPT-3 at a total cost of $600.

Having in-house monitoring tools to catch illnesses early and to providing you and your doctor with more data an insights to work with seems the way to go.
I'm not the best person to work on this, but someone should try to solve this archaic situation...
A few years ago I had this idea of the Home Hospital, basically turning someone's bathroom into a little monitoring clinic with a smart mirror that takes daily photos of you, a scale that measures you daily, a urine/stool sensor in your toilet, etc.
You go see doctors and the whole experience is pretty much a black box and guess work. Doctors don't have much data about you other than tests they will do then.
They never tell you any more data or probabilities of anything much. You're very much left in the dark.
