The CLARITY Act has now passed out of the Senate Banking Committee with bipartisan backing and moves to a full Senate vote - a historic moment for crypto entrepreneurs and American consumers.
Crypto is not a red or blue issue. It is about whether the next generation of financial and internet infrastructure gets built in the United States.
Thank you to @SenatorTimScott and @SenLummis for your leadership on the committee, to @BankingGOP, @Sen_Alsobrooks, and @RubenGallego for their support, and to all of the staff who have worked tirelessly to get to this point.
It’s time to pass CLARITY.
Tomorrow’s markup of the Digital Asset Market Clarity Act is a monumental step in making the U.S. the Crypto Capital of the World and maintaining America’s leadership in innovation. I applaud Chairman @SenatorTimScott and the Senate Banking Committee for working so hard to craft the necessary compromises to advance this legislation. At a staff level, I also want to thank White House crypto director @patrickjwitt for helping us get to this point. Finally I want to thank the crypto industry for its efforts. There are roughly 50 million people in the U.S. who own or use crypto. This legislation will ensure that this ecosystem can innovate and flourish for years to come.
Europe’s top investors, managing €4.85 trillion, are standing up to US pressure to weaken EU #methane rules. 💪
@Nordea & others urge the EU to hold the line on science and stability. Cutting methane can buy us time to stay near 1.5°C.

"Only 4% of climate finance goes to methane mitigation activities. So there is a huge potential to increase this." ⏩️

The House just made history by passing major legislation on stablecoins (GENIUS Act) and market structure (CLARITY Act) in an overwhelmingly bipartisan way.
This is a huge moment for crypto and for all Americans. We’re very close to having comprehensive, proactive rules in place for the first time.
Next up: the GENIUS Act goes to the President’s desk for his signature. After that, the Senate should pass the CLARITY Act.
We believe passing these laws is the best way to ensure that America remains the world leader in the next era of the internet.
Thank you to all the cosponsors of these bills and the incredible supporters on both sides of the aisle in Congress.
On our @ensdomains segment on Coffee with Captain, we talked about how crypto and Web3 face skepticism today.
But this isn’t new—tech has always been questioned. Let’s look at presidents who faced resistance when they embraced transformative innovations.

The House of Representatives made history today by passing the Financial Innovation and Technology for the 21st Century Act (FIT21). FIT21’s success is proof that protecting blockchain technology in the U.S. has strong, bipartisan support.
It’s an important step in providing long-awaited regulatory clarity for crypto, protecting U.S. consumers, and promoting American innovation. It’s also a big step for holding bad actors accountable, which is good for everyone.
There’s more work to be done, as the bill moves to the Senate, we ask everyone who believes in the future of blockchain technology to continue calling for responsible crypto regulation. Post on social media, reach out to your senators, and share your voice. For more on how to support:
