@Peachy_As_Hell@stepho_s19@EFCHistVer2 It’s not cheap to get rights to show all 104 matches, and the BBC has obligations far beyond football. Spending whatever it takes to outbid ITV for exclusive rights would mean less money for everything else the BBC is required to provide. Also BBC Sport isn’t a TV channel itself
@Peachy_As_Hell@stepho_s19@EFCHistVer2 Showing all 104 matches on one channel would wreck their own regular programming and they’d miss their quotas for news, dramas, documentaries, entertainment etc. Sharing rights with ITV means every game is available free to air so makes zero difference to the public
Whoever’s made all these AI ads of Nigel Farage could’ve at least had the creativity to have him kicking Bishop Brennan up the arse rather than some random guy on Question Time smh
@MTimperley@razorblade300 You’re legally allowed to film in public in both the UK and the USA. If someone gets ‘pissed off’ by that then that’s their problem.
@DisIsSeer@superTV247 See I think I it’s quite a timeless concept, there’ll always be talent and people enjoy watching a variety of acts. I think the downwards trend in the overnight ratings reflects a general trend away from live TV tbh but it’s still a good show
