@AWSSupport There has been no resolution. The only actionable advice I have been given is to cancel my credit card. How is this the best you can do? Are you going to reimburse me? Do you expect @Chase to foot the bill?
@AWSSupport Another update- I received a canned response explaining to me what sign in credentials are and sending me a link to open a new account. Eleven months of this.
@AWSSupport I did respond. Does that mean the final outcome is me being charged in perpetuity until I cancel that card? I filed a complaint with @Chase last week
@AWSSupport Update, I was asked to log into my account to get help from the account in question, even though it was closed… and then told the account is permanently closed and cannot be accessed. Now awaiting any other means to not get billed a twelfth month next week.
I made a super simple website where you can see everywhere you can get to in under an hour on the NYC subway.
The generated map is both a heat-map (changes color) and a cartogram (warps space).

I'm BACK with a new investigation: A fleet of unlicensed tow trucks has been growing in NYC, racing through the streets with fatal consequences. I used data to reveal that there are at least 700 illegal tow trucks in the city. https://t.co/3SsZEE4PXo
“Aaron Gordon was there and I heard he looked fantastic.”
“One of the best guys in the entire gym.”
@Adam_Mares has intel on the Nuggets who were at the Rico Hines pickups games this week — and who stood out 👀
SCOOP: I reviewed three sets of internal email exchanges between senior Biden administration officials who were warned just DAYS after Oct. 7 that Israel was risking committing war crimes by ordering more than a million Palestinians in northern Gaza to evacuate. There’s more: 1/X
1/ Yesterday, we broke the news that federal authorities had raided the homes of three of Mayor Eric Adams’ top aides: First Deputy Mayor Sheena Wright, Deputy Mayor for Criminal Justice Phil Banks and Chancellor David Banks.
It didn’t end there. 🧵

Dear GIS/EO world,
If all your public data was available in @cogeotiff/@flatgeobuf format, we wouldn't have to download it, we could just use it in place.
While I'm dreaming, if you created a catalog.fgb with 2 columns, data extent and file url, I could reference just my AOI data spatially and remotely to determine exactly what I need.
Bonus: add any other columns as metadata or statistical data about the file.
Tip: @GdalOrg utilities gdaltindex and ogrtindex will create this catalog for you painlessly.
Why are we making things so difficult and complex?
*Sigh*. Back to reality.
