@NealShusterman I'm almost finished with Unwind and the next one the library had available was Unbound. Can I read it before reading Unwholly/Unsouled/etc? Please advise :)
how to tell if a Midwesterner is fighting for their life 101:
“all good don’t worry about it” *there are plenty of worries*
"Livin' the dream!" *this is a desperate cry for help*
“hanging in there” they are literally hanging on by the smallest strand of thread in existence*
ADHD is thinking about all the things you have to do, getting stressed about all the things, worrying about the consequences of not doing the things, but still feeling stuck and unable to do any of the things.
me: goes to academic achievement recognition ceremony for being named the outstanding english major of my entire department, starts to actually feel validated
also me: crying in my dorm room five hours later because I have no idea how all this shit is going to get done??? help??
“He’s faking it. Loud sounds don’t hurt him when he blasts music.”

Remembering the time I was hooking up with a guy that "wasn't looking for anything" but I stayed at his place once and his whiteboard had "get a gf" on his to do list
Hi, if you're looking into ADHD and keep stopping yourself with the "but I'm probably just lazy", please know that everyone I've met who got diagnosed with ADHD as an adult felt the same way before diagnosis. You wouldn't be angsting over it so much it it was just laziness.
@WhatTheADHD Red Dead Redemption and Skyrim are the loves of my life, tied for first place. Probably minecraft as well since it’s served as a tool of quality time with my partner
@theMAGlClAN “I don’t care if my friends hate me now because Jesus said we would be persecuted for our faith 💖”
you’re not being persecuted you’re suffering from the consequences of your own bigotry 🤡
