Excited to share our most powerful new Claude Code feature: dynamic workflows!
Mention "workflow" in a prompt and Claude will dynamically create an orchestration plan that it strictly follows, allowing you to confidently trust that every stage happens in the right order even across 100s of agents.
We just shipped Opus 4.8! It's noticeably more honest, owning what it doesn't know and flagging problems in its own code instead of glossing over them. It's our recommended model for daily use in Claude Code.
This was SO fun to do. Working with @cognition has been one of the clear highlights of my last few years at Anthropic, and founders like @ScottWu46 are what make the job so cool
Personal update: I've joined Anthropic. I think the next few years at the frontier of LLMs will be especially formative. I am very excited to join the team here and get back to R&D. I remain deeply passionate about education and plan to resume my work on it in time.
What does autonomous work even mean?
The biggest impediment for me has been the fact that I have to “crank” the model to continue in the direction that I want it to go.
With Opus 4.7 there’s less “cranking”
Introducing Claude Opus 4.7, our most capable Opus model yet.
It handles long-running tasks with more rigor, follows instructions more precisely, and verifies its own outputs before reporting back.
You can hand off your hardest work with less supervision.
Bubble 🤝 Opus 4.7
@AnthropicAI brought us in before the release to test and send feedback, and we’re seeing a 5–10% improvement in cross-page visual consistency. Create an app with Bubble AI and you’ll notice the gains!
New on the Anthropic Engineering Blog:
How we use a multi-agent harness to push Claude further in frontend design and long-running autonomous software engineering.

Claude can now build interactive charts and diagrams, directly in the chat.
Available today in beta on all plans, including free.

I hope & believe anyone who understands the situation would support our position here. AI for mass surveillance or autonomous weapons is irresponsible at the very least; it’s puzzling why the DoW is so insistent on keeping these use cases on the table.
New in Cowork: scheduled tasks.
Claude can now complete recurring tasks at specific times automatically: a morning brief, weekly spreadsheet updates, Friday team presentations.
Introducing cmux: the open-source terminal built for coding agents.
- Vertical tabs
- Blue rings around panes that need attention
- Built-in browser
- Based on Ghostty
When Claude Code needs you, the pane glows blue and the sidebar tells you why.
No Electron/Tauri. Just Swift/Appkit.
This has one been one of my biggest productivity boosts of the past year. Highly recommend trying this out, in some ways it feels just as impactful as a model intelligence upgrade.
