@F1@MercedesAMGF1#IStandWithLewisHamilton Studying the REGs, and F1's defense is baseless. A thread.... (1) 48.12 reads "ONCE THE LAST LAPPED car has passed the leader..." the safety car returns "at the end of the following lap." /1
@Timodc@SarahLongwell25@JVLast@samstein — Bulwark folks - I cannot say enough how much I appreciate your nonstop content leading up to the election this year. Amazing stuff.
@RobLMyers George will never ever play the team game. He ought to be helping Lewis get #2. But he sucks. In any event, Lewis had plenty of room on the outside and it was an unforced error on his part.
@RobLMyers I’d like to see GR play a supporting role for LH’s run at #2, but that’s just not in George’s DNA. He’s never gonna be a real team player and #2. But Lewis didn’t need to cut it that close. Ultimately on Lewis, as he recognized.
@NaturalParadigm I think W13 breaking down at the end, Russell speeding by him, after Lewis begged not to be on a one-stop and was ignored —- may actually be the perfect close to this awful season
@MRJHJoseph I’m EXTREMELY anti-Max as I think he’s proven himself to be a nasty child. That said, I don’t think we should expect racers to give up wins. I do there there was quite a bit Max could have done to help Checo since Max secured the championship and he simply chose not to
@__SteF1 Lewis was let down, time and again, by his team all season. Bad car throughout. So many poor strategy decisions. Let’s hope the team gets back into form in 2023. This was a long slog.
@LH44_Lisa@fia This isn’t a close call. The red flag came out after Lewis already passed. And the light first flashed when he was already beside Lando, and you immediately hear the downshift. Even Karun and Hill couldn’t bring themselves to fault Lewis.
