@ImSporticus Yep! It needs to start from a position of wishing to develop physical literacy rather than falsely layering ‘sports’ over underdeveloped movement capabilities- not to mention lack of proclivity for traditional sports. But it’s complex!

@ImSporticus And by the way, there are some incredible PE teachers out there doing really innovative work focused on developing F (fundamental/functional/foundational) Movement Skills.
@ImSporticus Thank you, Alex. It’s difficult because all PE teachers are working under incredible constraints that may dictate what they can and cannot do. Biggest recommendation is (as much as possible) create environments that encourage movement exploration w/out predefined technical models
